SummerWorks partners with many employers large and small to offer a wide range of summer job opportunities for youth. You can see those opportunities by registering for SummerWorks and completing the Job Readiness training.

How will this help me? 

Signing up will help you 1) Explore careers of interest, 2) Connect to real job experiences, and 3) Build your professional references. Everyone can use help in finding their place in the working world, and SummerWorks is here to provide resources and access.  

What if I’m not in Jefferson County? 

SummerWorks only serves youth within Louisville/Jefferson County. You can check out KentuckianaWorks.org for more resources in the Louisville region. 

What if I’m under 16 or over 21? 

SummerWorks only serves youth between the ages of 16 and 21. You can check out KentuckianaWorks.org for more career resources and training opportunities.

Will Summerworks help me in the hiring process?

Yes! SummerWorks will help you with every aspect of the hiring process, including fine-tuning your resume and getting prepared for job interviews.
